Why take the test?

AnalyseMyIQ was born out of three huge frustrations with modern IQ tests:

  • IQ tests are designed to make us feel smart
  • No “real world” feedback or ways to make use of the results
  • Assessments were created with no academic basis

After 10 years of research, hundreds of interviews, we are proud to bring you (what we feel) is one of the most accurate and useful IQ tests on the planet.

IQ has long been paraded as the poster child of “bad science” (here, here, and here), so we asked: WHY?

So much academic thought has gone into IQ, why isn’t it more respected? Is it just a bogus theory? Has there been no value in the countless hours of research?

Whilst IQ once reigned supreme, it’s the Personality Test that now commands the attention of academia and the general public alike (just look at the self-development sector’s growth, corporations obsession with personality tests and (by extension) how branding and modern marketing work).
